Established in 2011, The Green Growler started out as a specialty craft beer grocery.  Now, The Green Growler is a one-stop-shop for beer lovers specializing in local American craft beers and the craft of beer.

Featuring an expertly curated  and constantly rotating selection of the best in craft beers, the Green Growler is a chill tap room, bottle shop and lounge in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Located 30 miles north of Manhattan, at the entrance to the Croton Harmon train station, the shop regularly features 10 beers on tap to enjoy on premises or to take home in a growler, and over 150 of the best and freshest beers in cans and bottles. We also serve wine and cider by the glass, as well as menu of delicious munchies, including gourmet cheeses, hot dogs, hot pretzels and assorted meats.

Our homey location with views of the Croton River’s confluence with the Hudson and Croton-Harmon station is unlike any other place. Visitors can sit at the bar or hang on the couch in the lounge, or just pop in for a growler and cans to go. We play host to a wide variety of brewery and musical events, including beer instruction and tasting events, exceptional musical acts, and more.

We also have a private second story event space that hosts rotating art exhibits, and is available for rental for private events beginning in September 2017.

Upstairs – rent our space!

Rent the Green Growler’s Upstairs space. With beautiful views of the Croton and Hudson rivers, free WiFi and cable television, the Upstairs space is an ideal location for meetings, parties, board meetings, charitable events and more.

Conveniently located near the Croton-Harmon Metro-North and Amtrak stations, with parking and bus service available, the Green Growler is an ideal meeting place for intimate gatherings in the lower Hudson Valley.

Hourly rates (does not include drinks or catering):

$25/hour on weekdays + $15 set-up fee
$45/hour on weekends + $15 set-up fee
Catering can be provided by a range of local eateries, and a private bar may also be provided for an additional fee.
